Connection between the Cisco 1000BASE-LX SFP optical module and two Media Converters
As shown in Figure 2, two Cisco 1000BASE-LX optical transceivers are plugged into a media converter and connected by a single-mode optical patch cord, then using a UTP copper cable to connect the media converter and Cisco switch.
